The gel polish base is a product that acts as a layer between the nail art and the nail plate. The base should be used when working with three-phase gel nail polishes.
Quick View
Product Name: 3812L Base Gel
Suitable Lamp: UV/LED Lamp
The 3812L base coat is primarily designed to provide a secure bond between the natural nail and the gel polish. But in addition to this, the base performs several other important functions:
Features
- It protects the nail plate from color pigments.
- It smooths the nail plate, thus hiding its defects and imperfections.
- Strengthens the nail plate: Owners of thin and brittle nails can wear artificial covering for 3-4 weeks thanks to the base.
- The base allows extension of the nail plate, e.g. corners.
Applying The Base To The Nail Plate
The base comes into direct contact with the nail, so it is important that it not only provides long-lasting coverage but also does not harm the natural nail. The consistency of the base also makes it perfect for a pedicure. The curing time in the light is 30-60 seconds. The smell of the base is not chemical, so masters can work with ease.
The base gel is the best choice for your base coat, helping you to get the best possible base before applying the color gel. Trust this base gel to help you get a good nail finish.
Helpful Tips For Applying Nail Polish Gel
At present, the nail polish gel on the market is divided into a bottled gel and boxed gel. Because the packaging design is different, the tools used are also different. The bottled gel comes with a brush head. Boxed gel, requires a nail art brush. It is recommended to use a flat pen and a large round pen. Both brush heads are slightly larger and easier to brush flat.
1. When taking the gel, scrape off the nail polish gel on the back of the brush strip and the brush head, leaving only a small amount of gel on the front. If you take the gel directly without scraping, it will cause too much gel and it will be difficult to spread it evenly.
Viewed from the side, the front end of the brush head is curved, and only one side has nail polish gel:
Boxed gel, touch the pen first. Take out the color gel with a nail art pen and place it on the glass plate. Apply to both sides of the brush, allowing the color gel to penetrate the middle of the brush to reduce brush marks.
2. When applying the gel, the brush head and the nail surface should be at 45°, from top to bottom, it should be consistent, and the middle should not be interrupted. Be careful not to press down on the brush head too hard (remember to sharpen the edges). Keep the speed moderate, not too fast, otherwise, there will be small bubbles easily.
Put the pen 3mm away from the edge of the nail brush, and push the brush forward gently 1-2mm, which can leave a smooth arc on the upper edge of the nail, make the nail look more rounded, and visually correct long and crooked nails. When brushing both sides, the line must be straightened. For nails with wider nails, you can leave more white on the sides to make the nails look thinner.
3. In order to get a nice color, you can apply the gel applied twice, and the amount of gel taken the second time is less than that of the first time.
4. When smearing the edge skin on the surface of the nail, we can wrap a little cotton with a clean orange stick, dip a little alcohol, and gently wipe with the orange stick.
